The College of Arms was founded in 1484 and is the heraldic authority for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. It is based is a Grade I listed 17thcentury building in the City of London, and its library contains around 7,000 manuscripts dealing with heraldry, genealogy and allied subjects. This tour will go through the main public rooms, and then arrive in the Record Room to see the highlights of the manuscript collection, viewing splendid illustrated heraldic manuscripts ranging from the 15th century to work of the present day.
